CBSE Class 12 Result 2021 Has Been Announced

Students across the country are eagerly waiting for their CBSE Class 10 and 12 results. However, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has not announced any official date for the declaration of class 10 results. CBSE Exam Controller in an interview had also predicted the result declaration of class 10 within few days. However, CBSE Class 12 Result 2021 has been announced by the central board of education on July 30. Students can check their results on CBSE’s official website – cbse.gov.in or cbseresults.nic.in. Moreover, CBSE class 12 result is also available via SMS and other web portals like Digilocker, UMANG app, etc. The CBSE board has announced the information of declaring class 12 results by sharing a post on social media with a hashtag (#CBSEresult#CBSE).

This will be the first time when the CBSE will declare the results of both the classes without conducting the examinations. This year the CBSE had cancelled the board exams of class 10 in view of Covid pandemic and postponed class 12 exams due to the same reason. Further, as the cases were surging in the country the board also cancelled class 12 exams and following this, most of the state boards also cancelled the final exams of both classes. Now, along with CBSE, CISCE, and some other boards have also announced the results of both classes. However, few state boards have already released the class 10 and 12 results and the remaining states will soon declare the results on the official websites of respective state boards.

Students of both classes can check the results on the official website of the CBSE and through the DigiLocker website and app. The board will also send the results through the SMS, details of which will be announced on the result day. Schools affiliated with the CBSE board will also update the results on their websites. However, students are advised to check CBSE class 12 result 2021 only from the authentic website to get the correct information. Students need to follow the given steps to check their results-

Step 1: Visit the official website of CBSE and click on the ‘Result’ tab. Then you will be directed to a new page i.e., CBSE Exam Results – For CBSE class 12 result 2021.

Step 3:  Students who want to check class 10 results will have to click on Secondary School Examination and those who want to check CBSE class 12 result 2021 have to open class XII results link.

Step 4: Students will have to enter their details like roll number and school number.

Step 5: After clicking on the submit button, your result will appear on the screen

Step 6: Students can download the results and take a printout for future use.

Evaluation Process of CBSE

As per the policy of the Board, students have been assessed out of a maximum of 100 marks for each subject. Out of which 20% marks are for internal assessment or practical and 80% marks for theory.

Since CBSE cancelled the board exams, the assessment of 80 marks has been done by the school. Schools calculate the marks scored by the candidate in different tests/exams conducted by the school itself during the year. Moreover, the CBSE had earlier announced an alternative assessment scheme for classes 10 and 12 to maintain fairness. According to the alternative assessment criterion, results will be prepared using student’s performance in internal assessments, periodic tests, half-yearly or mid-term exams and pre-board examinations.

For the assessment of the theory portion of marks, schools were asked to follow the formula given below:

Registration Process for Optional Exams

The board had also provided students an option to appear in the exams later if they are not satisfied with the result. Central Board of Secondary Education will soon start the online application process for the students who wish to appear in the optional exam to improve their marks. After the announcement of class 10 and 12 results for 2021, the CBSE will begin the registration process for optional exams of class 12 from August 13 till August 22. The regular students can apply for the optional exams through their schools, while the private students will have to apply online from the official website of CBSE. The CBSE optional exam is proposed to be conducted in the month of September. The CBSE will announce the official dates of the optional exam later. Meanwhile, CBSE will also conduct in-person examination for the students of class 10 who will get compartment in the exam, but regarding this, the board has not made any official announcement yet.

After the class 10 and 12 exams were cancelled in view of the ongoing Covid pandemic, the different education boards have started the process of declaring the results. Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), as well as West Bengal and Tamil Nadu state boards have announced the result dates. The Supreme Court has also suggested different boards to declare the results by 31 July. Following this, state boards of West Bengal, Tamil Nadu, Goa and Assam are expected to announce board results in the upcoming weeks.

Nevertheless, state board of Kerala announced the SSLC result 2021 on July 14 on its official website keralaresults.nic.in and this year, 99.47% students have passed the Kerala SSLC exam. The board will declare class 12 results by 31 July.

Madhya Pradesh Board of Secondary Education (MPBSE) also declared Class 10 board result for 2021 on 14th July. Students can check their marks from the official websites – mpresults.nic.in, mpbse.mponline.gov.in. Over 3.5 lakhs students have passed with the first division this year. Students unsatisfied with the Class 10th board results can register online for a special exam which expected to be held between September 1 and September 25. Class 12 results will be declared by July-end.

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) and Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) also release the results in the upcoming days and students can view their results by visiting thier official websites. Maharashtra Board has also announced SSC result 2021 on July 16, 2021, and will declare class 12th results in the coming weeks. In addition, Haryana state board had declared the Class 10 HBSE result 2021 on June 11, 2021. Haryana Board 10th result 2021 is available on the official website bseh.org.in and the board will soon declare the result of class 12 before 31 July. Moreover, other boards including Council for the Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE), West Bengal Board (WBBSE), etc. have declared the class 10 and 12 results before or on 31 July 2021.
