On Monday, commerce and industry minister Piyush Goyal said that India is ready to partner with Australia for seamless integration and enhance the Global Value Chains (GVCs) to develop a domestic market with a strong private sector and skilled labour. While addressing the meeting Australia’s trade minister Dan Tehan said that India has become an important and relevant partner for Canberra’s economic strategy, especially in the areas of trade and investment.

Finance Minister of India, Nirmala Sitharaman said on Sunday that India would need four or five more banks like the SBI to enhance its economic growth. A video of her speech has been released by the Press Information Bureau in which she stated at the 74th Annual General Meeting of the Indian Banks’ Association (IBA) that to address some challenges like the way in which industry is adapting, economy is shifting, etc. we not only need more but bigger banks.

Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission has been Launched by Prime Minister of India

India’s Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi has started the historic initiative named as Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission on 27th September 2021. In the year 2020, on the occasion of Independence Day, Prime Minister of India has announced Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission and in the year 2021 this mission is being implemented in six Union Territories. Moreover, Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission will create an online platform through the provision of a wide-range of data, information and infrastructure services standards-based digital systems while ensuring the security and privacy.

Hunarbaaz Awards for 75 Handicapped Candidates

Hunarbaaz Awards have been distributed by the National Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj, Hyderabad under the Ministry of Rural Development for 75 handicapped candidates who are belong from 15 different states as the part of Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav. NIRDPR with MoRD has organised this award ceremony was in association with State Rural Livelihood Missions (SRLMs) and Rural Self-employment Training Institutes.

The awards are providing to the candidates who were trained under the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana and RSETI schemes in various trades. They are subsequently got placed and worked in the organizations or were successfully settled in the trade of their choice as self-employed.
