The summary of the book:
The story sets in Ahmedabad city where lives a normal guy named Govind. He is ambitious and focuses on becoming a businessman. Ishaan is a cricket fan, patriot and one of the best cricketers in his locality. Omi is the son of the local temple priest and friend of Govind and Ishaan. To accommodate all their passions, the three friends open a cricket shop. Govind thinks big and wants to make money, on the other hand, Ishaan is focusing to train Ali (a poor child with a rare gift). Omi wants to stay close to his friends and his city. But nothing comes easy in this chaotic city.
To make their dream come true, each one has to face issues like religious politics, earthquakes, riots, and unacceptable love. In this all they have to face their own mistakes. Will they able to do it? Will they overcome the nightmares offered by real life?

Chetan Bhagat is an Indian author, columnist, and screenwriter, who is popularly known for his English-language novels. He went to IIT Delhi for pursuing engineering and later he completed his MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. The New York Times has called him ‘the biggest selling author in India’s history’. Some of his books have also been adapted by filmmakers like One Night @ the Call Center movies, Five Point Someone, The 3 Mistakes of My Life, 2 States, and Half Girlfriend. Bhagat has also written the scripts for Bollywood films like Kick in 2014. Apart from writing, the author has a keen interest in yoga.
